Liberty K9 Protection Dogs
There are many companies in existence who offer protection dogs. Most of these companies categorize their dogs in "levels". The levels typically start out with the level one "Family" Protection Dog and escalate up to the level five "Executive" or "Estate" Protection Dog. At Liberty K9, we don't believe that a dog purchased to protect a family should be any less trained or any less valued than a dog purchased to protect a celebrity. We train ALL of our protection dogs to the SAME high standard of excellence for consistency in the real world. When the issue at hand is PROTECTION, we believe that there is only one level...the best...and we take that very seriously. We produce and train our own dogs to enable us to ensure the mental and physical soundness of the dogs we sell. We use the natural talent and abilities of the Belgain Malinois, Dutch Shepherds, and German Shepherds dog. We don't just talk a good talk; we stand behind our dogs and their genetics. The sires and dams of our puppies are on site - something that cannot be said by the companies who import their dogs. We subscribe to the belief that there is no substitute for quality & soundness when you are training a working dog. Protection dogs purchased at Liberty K9 are very stable around all of life's distractions. They are well socialized and brought up around children & other pets. In addition to their elite training in protection and bitework, the dogs are also worked in stress agility, which is designed to build confidence, strength and endurance (physical & mental) in the dogs. Likewise they are trained to high levels of real-world obedience. This combination of training produces dogs that are truly at the top of their game and therefore extremely versatile. Our dogs can go on to join K9 Units just as seamlessly as they can join families. They can travel with you or remain in the home. By nature, dogs have different personalities and we will custom match one of our dogs to your specific set of needs. When you purchase a protection dog from Liberty K9, you need not worry about the "levels" or the various instances in which that dog will protect you. To put it simply, our dogs are working dogs and they will not hesitate to risk their own lives to save yours.On a final note, DO NOT BE FOOLED by other companies offering sport-trained dogs as “protection” dogs. Schutzhund is a sport and produces dogs who play games with bite-sleeves. This type of training FALLS APART under real world stress. If you are serious about having a stable dog who will not back down when needed for protection, you need a dog who has been trained to respond properly. At Liberty K9, we train for the real world, NOT the sport ring. Remember, a real attack will be a serious situation with real stress and the potential for real harm. You will want a dog that has been trained to protect you & your family for real, not one that has been trained to play games.
